The Jazz Project Videos

April 2020

We really wanted to keep singing while we're all isolating. When one of our choristers came up with these alternate lyrics to Fats Waller's tune "Ain't Misbehavin'" we knew we'd found our project! It was lots of fun to work on, but really, we can't wait until we can actually sing together again.

Sharing Dance

TranzitionzJazz collaborated with Canada’s National Ballet School on November 30th, 2018, to host a Jazz concert in support of NBS Sharing Dance Parkinson’s program. The event was a huge success and well received by everyone who had the opportunity to attend. The concert was sold out on Eventbrite and generously supported by credit unions in Ontario - Alterna, DUCA, FirstOntario, Meridian and Your Neighbourhood and by Aviso Wealth and CUMIS; raising over sixteen thousand dollars towards NBS Sharing Dance Parkinson’s program. There were special guest performances by the fresh new voices of The Jazz Project, a special dance rendition from the Sharing Dance Parkinson’s program dancers of I’m In The Mood For Love and dancers from Canada’s National Ballet School performed to Come Together by the Beatles, backed by TranzitionzJazz and background singers from TJP. A video, highlight of the evening will be coming soon, along with photos and a full-length video presentation of the evening, so please stay tuned. On behalf of TranzitionzJazz and NBS, we would like to thank everyone who donated, participated and attended; for their support in making the Sharing Dance Parkinson’s Benefit Concert a memorable and exhilarating achievement. And special thanks to The Jazz Project Choir and director, Mim Adams, for their musical contribution.

The Jazz Project is accompanied by the TranzitionzJazz ensemble.  Visit for more videos of the concert.
