Mim is at the forefront of modern musicianship training for young vocalists as part of The Full Voice Workbooks team.

Mim Adams

She authored the supplementary theory books, sold worldwide both online and at music retailers; and she assists in the development of content and layout for workbooks and educational worksheets. Mim is also a private vocal, piano, and theory instructor who has prepared students for the Royal Conservatory of Music exams, Kiwanis and other music festivals. Working as a professional musician has allowed her to collaborate with a number of different bands and artists. She performs regularly as a jazz vocalist for private and public events around Toronto. As a rock keyboardist/vocalist she has toured across Canada, performed at music festivals, and performed live on radio and television. Her original songwriting has been featured on four studio albums, and she composes and arranges for theatre productions and various vocal groups. Mim is an honours graduate of the Mohawk College Music Program where she studied vocal jazz with Bob Hamper, and jazz arranging with Dave McMurdo and Mike Malone. She continues to learn about music and voice through various workshops, collaboration with other professionals, and independent study. Mim is a respected vocalist, keyboardist, songwriter, composer, arranger, accompanist and music instructor. In addition to all of her qualifications as the music director for The Jazz Project, her personality, vigor and dedication continues to be a driving force that enhances the vision and experience of The Jazz Project.
